Christine Spencer - Founder/Head Behaviourist

Christine has worked with a variety of species including dogs, horses and birds of prey for almost 30years. She has a Master of Science Degree in Applied Animal Behaviour and Training and a BSc(Hons) in Applied Psychology

Christine is  a full member of the Association of Pet Behaviour Counsellors and a Registered Behaviourist with the Animal Behaviour and Training Council. She is also a member of and assessor for the Association of Pet Dog Trainers.

Christine has worked with hundreds of dogs of different breeds and a helped with a variety of behaviour issues such as resource guarding, dog/dog aggression, dog/human aggression, separation anxiety. 

James assisted at training classes growing up and officially joined the business as a dog trainer in 2015 after many years of working and training horses in a range of disciplines. Since joining he has become the main trainer at C S Canine, teaching majority of classes from puppy to stage 1. In 2018, James was accepted as a Full member of the APDT.

James is an experienced dog trainer offering one-to-one training for lead walking, socialisation, puppy visits, and more.

Ziggy and Renna

Ziggy and Renna are Christine and James' dogs, respectively. Ziggy is a Cocker Spaniel and Renna a Labrador x German Wirehaired Pointer. Without them we couldn't do any of this, every time we want to try out a new exercise, or go on training ourselves, they're the ones who have to go with us.
